Orgel
Organist.
He began playing the organ accidentally:
"When the lady who had taught me playing piano for years became a professor for piano as a subsidiary subject at the University of Music in Vienna I wanted to continue my studies with her and subsequently needed a principal subject for "alibi..."

Thereafter Robert Lehrbaumer won organ competitions he only participated in to please his teacher - up to that time he had considered himself purely as a pianist. Unexpectedly he was offered attractive engagements as an organist in concerts ...

One of the organs Robert Lehrbaumer initiated is the "Philip Dorninger memorial organ" in the parish church of Aschbach in Lower Austria (built by Gerhard H. Hradetzky).
